Steps Overview – Student File Process

Register in Portal

Register in the Student File portal using your mobile number, email, and a secure password.

Open Your Student File Account

Apply online to open your Student File account. Submit the required documents, including your passport, admission letter, and other identification proofs.

Complete Application & KYC

Provide your personal details and educational information. Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) formalities as per Bangladesh Bank regulations to ensure compliance and secure processing.

Fund Your Account

Deposit the required funds into your Student File account to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other related expenses. Funds can be transferred from a Sonali Bank savings account or deposited in cash at the branch.

Request Fund Remittance

The AD branch you applied to through the Student File Portal will issue a NOC. You must visit the branch once to complete the remaining process and submit a remittance request, including the foreign institution, account details, and transfer amount.

Bank Verification & Compliance Check

Sonali Bank verifies all submitted documents and ensures compliance with Bangladesh Bank foreign exchange regulations before approving the fund transfer.

Overseas Fund Transfer
